The Luzerne & Susquehanna Railroad operates 93 miles of track in the Wilkes-Barre and Scranton area. It connects with Conrail at the Pittston Jct, and with CP Rail(D&H) at Taylor. The Pocono Northeast Railway started service in 1982, and abandoned operations in 1983. The Delaware-Lackawanna took over until 1994, when Steven May became the owner.⁽¹⁾
