The following excerpts from the Montreal Gazette provides more details:
"The blue-and-white locomotive and cars went on an inaugural tour from Windsor Station to Ste. Anne de Bellevue to herald the beginning of service June 23, 2000. The idea is to learn a little more about the history of the city through a journey on Montreal's first mass-transit system. The tour begins under the soaring ceiling of Windsor Station, with its brass fittings and gleaming wood. The train ride features tour guides in 1899-style costumes."
"The cars are former GO train coaches from Toronto that have been refurbished with panoramic windows seat groupings of four and vintage photos from the archives of Canadian Pacific Railway and the McCord Museum, depicting Montreal at the turn of the previous century. Le Riverain will depart twice daily on weekdays, and four times on Saturdays and Sundays from Windsor Station to Ste. Anne de Bellevue, June 23 to Sept. 4."
