The Lima Locomotive Works of Lima, OH was the smallest of the 3 major steam builders. In 1949, the first switcher came out. In 1950, they merged with Baldwin. Total sales were 174 units, and the Lima designs were not carried over into the Baldwin line.⁽¹⁾
